For almost every day this summer Chas has been to hockey camp.  But when he DID stay home with Mom...

First Day of First Grade

First day...Chas woke up and walked through his blue and white streamed door...

The puppy was holding a "First Graders Rock" pencil.  The lunch box was filled with candy and junk to leave in my class for after school.  The lunchbox was the one he picked out then we could not find (I admit it was my fault...I insisted we go to all different stores before we made our decision...I have to allow him to be decisive! He was, I was not! Luckily I ended up finding one!)

 Yes, his hair is sticking up. Yes, he wanted it that way. He calls it his "puffle" from Club Penguin. 

Yes, it bothers me! But I am letting him do his own thing! 

1st Grade Open House

My baby is in FIRST GRADE!  This year Chas' emotion was "scared"...

But I know he is going to LOVE Mrs. MacTaggart and Mrs. Hanson!

 

 

Happy birthday to Nick and then on to Harley!

Playing checkers with Grammy--her and Chas bonded lots at cracker barrel and Chas was given a board of his own!

August 1st...the day of the party...as per Chas' request, he wanted a surprise when he woke up...so he opened the door to a balloon drop!
