Mr. Energy
This weekend Chas helped me organize his toys...
We found our finger paint while in the closet, so we did some of that, too.
No reluctance this time!
After cleaning up he hung out in the cupboard for a bit...
Today we played "tag" (if you listen carefully he says it when Nick picks him up. To the untrained ear you won't hear it, but we play tag several times a day so we can make it work.).
The best part of the game is running from the door to the bedroom and throwing ourselves down on the mattress...we never tire from this activity.
Then he helped me clean up the table after dinner. (He also helped me put laundry in the washer, as well as put away his washcloths and socks... AND he has almost mastered hangers. My little helper!)
Dance break.
Then back to tag...
And some more...again, we just love it.

A Night of "New"s
A night of new activities...
It started off with a new video...yes, that is right...i actually allowed him to watch tv! It was quite captivating and exciting...
But then I distracted him when I started to clean...
We then discovered that the cleaning bottle could spray us, too! (yes, Mom, it was plain water)...
Then Chas helped me put together a new sorting center for school.

Spring Break Part 2
Easter morning started with some breakfast...
Note his manners...
Then we opened up some gifts from the Easter Bunny!
Chas has decided that he is allowed to pick out his own clothes. He seems to be attached to these shorts and using the pockets to hold stuff...especially chapstick! He also decided that he likes hats.
Fun in the tunnel with Easter eggs...
His exquisite table manners remain...
Just like Daddy-eating at the table. (This was NOT my idea.)
Riding around in my bug buggy...with some friends...

Playing with his truck (on the side he is playing with his keys).
Listen closely when he kicks the ball...he says,"kick!" We were practicing egg racing.
He is a very independent eater...focused, but always willing to put on a show for the camera...
Now we may not take Chas out to parks and museums, but we do try and make every trip a fun experience...especially Wal-Mart...or in this case...good ole' Wally World!

Tuesday Helpers
It is Tuesday which is a terrific day! I get time to clean and Chas gets to play with Madison. Tonight he had twice the fun as Savannah joined the mix. Thanks for your help, ladies!

A week in review...
This week started off at 5:00 a.m...yes, that's right. And Chas insisted on getting in his chair and putting on his bib before he would eat breakfast.
Our day progressed without a nap to some cleaning...
Some playing...
And finally nap-time symptoms arrived!
This week we colored...
And played...
Decided that we would not buy anymore toys since tissues were much more fun...
Hung out with Madison!
And even explored the great outdoors.
