Just one question...

How did the cat food get on the floor in the first place?

Hi Grammy!

So Grammy has been wondering what I have been up to...so here, in no order, are just a few non-exciting snippets into the past week...

Chillin' with my snowman...he is fun to talk to and kiss.

Puppy hugs and kisses.

Practicing my sports-

All that exercise made me thirsty.

Teeth brushing time.

Now spit!

This was a little exciting!

Today we got about 3 inches of snow...meaning Mom had no school and grocery stores had no milk, bread, canned goods, water, and anything else you would obviously need to survive 3 inches of snow.

Chas woke up and when I opened the window he was amazed at what he saw! All morning he kept going over and looking outside at that "white stuff." (How cute is it that he is up on his toes!)

So once Dad got up we went outside for Nicholas' first true experience with snow. From his reaction inside we figured he would LOVE it.

Apparently snow is more exciting from inside. He laughed the entire time but was very iffy at first about touching it and repeatedly declined.

And yes, I know that Crocs are not exactly "winter" shoes but he had on footed pajamas and they were they only shoes we could get on his feet.

A BLUE Day

Sunday was a busy day! Chas had some giggles with his Daddy before he left for work (Nick, not Chas!)

Grammy sent some blueberry funds so of course that is all Chas has been eating.

I sent him into the living room with a little cup, but he found a better place to put them!

Then Chas decided that he wanted to finger paint again. He was not so tentative this time and got right into the paint! He always starts off so dainty...

and then turns all boy on me. He was covered (face, arms, and belly) by the time we were done!

I don't mind, though. Chas is wonderful at helping clean up. He wiped down the tray for me.

Then we drained the tub of blue water and refilled it with clean soapy fun! (And by the way...his toy trends carry through to the tub. Forget cool cups and floats, frogs and fish...he likes old soap containers and wooden spoons and loofas the best.)

Like I said-I do not mind Chas getting messy because he always helps with the clean-up.

After the bath Chas played some before bedtime. Again, forget fancy toys. Chas played ALL day with the blender. All day. And if was playing with something else, he had the blender in his hand as well. Adorable.

He continues to amaze me as he learns how to "interact" with his toys and is really starting to play.

(I was sneaky and put his hat on him. He was so busy "blending" that he did not notice for quite some time!)
