Keepin' Busy

Mom is back to school and Dad is back to work...I am back to my normal routine...keepin' busy and being cute!

Savoring the Last Days of Vacation

**sigh**... vacation for me has come to an end. I have LOVED being at home with my boys daily and am sad to go back to work. Here are some pics from our last few days together.

Getting our stocking ready for Russian Christmas.

Finger painting for the first time...he did wonderful! (Meaning only a bit of paint ended up on the floor and none in his mouth!)

His first dip. I wasn't so sure he was sold on the idea.


But with a little encouragement from Dad on the sidelines, he ended up having a blast!




Chas went to nursery school today for the second time. I think this time it was harder to leave him than the first, but I survived. He is a little Zebra! Their lesson today was about how God gives us good things. He brought home his first craft, my first keepsake!


Car seat boxes sure are fun!




Chas previously drew on the wall with a crayon. When I gave him another one today he went straight to the same spot and started his artwork. (I am proud of his consistency!) He is, however, learning how to accept the concept of "no"...and luckily the crayon washed off!

Dance break!

Chas loves to stand on this stool and hold on to me while I shake the stool. He has decided that it is a fun game for his goat, too. (And no, I do not shake it until he falls off.)

**sigh**...I love my little zebra...

Happy New Year to Us!

We went out to Maggiano's for lunch today to celebrate the new year...

Chas got cookies with his meal!


We then came home and had some snuggle time.

And some play time.

Final Fun in 2008

With the year coming to an end, my Mom convinced everyone to come outside and go for a walk...after all...it was over 60 degrees...no reason to stay inside!

So off we went! It all started out great. I got to do my own thing.

They let me play on the lawn.

All of a sudden I saw some friends!

So I went right over to say hello to Mr. Snowman...

Then Dad came over and said time was up.

I was sad.

But got over it pretty quick when he let me play on the playground.


We had a ton of fun! (Mom is lucky...she was still playing on the jungle gym but stopped for a minute to take our picture.)

What a fun day!

One thing I learned in 2008...bubbles are not the yummiest!


I love to play peek-a-boo with my Mom.


Harley's new napping spot...I love her. And I really love that she sleeps here because I sneak up on her and touch her!

A First

Just wanted to let you all know that Chas successfully opened a door by himself today!
Off to baby proof the doorknobs!

Camp Christmas

Christmas #2 fun...all starts with books Christmas Eve...Bumpa gave me my farm book!

Here is Harley checking out all the stuff that Santa brought us!

I got so excited I started opening the first gift I saw (it was not mine).

Santa brought me a new ball!

Grammy and Bumpa got me a new car seat. I am sad that I am almost too big for the rear facing seat but I think this one will work.

Yup...I can suck my thumb and twist my belly button in it...it'll do.

Plus...BONUS! It came with a box!

Did you notice my new socks? That Santa has some good fashion sense.



I think opening the gift is fun regardless of the gift.

Wooo whooo!!! I got a hockey stick! Dad is going to teach me how to play..yiippeee!

Today I was the luckiest little boy and got to visit some favorite people...the Summers' girls!

Madison got me a present...

New pajamas...of course I let them put them on me right away!


They are so special to me...they even changed my diaper!
